Responsibilities
The individual will lead process workshops for developers and functional teams, as well as for key stakeholders
Work closely with the business partners to collect product (application) needs and document them as acceptance criteria within feature documents
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, setting goals and milestones and assigning responsibility
Work with the architecture teams to develop and overall product vision
Ensure that the development team always has a planned and prioritized team story backlog
Communicate to ensure that dependencies and risks are well planned for
Coach managers on industry leading controls and software development practices to ensure adoption of best practices from the top down
Prepare, implement, maintain, and audit product development standards, policies, and procedures
Work closely with quality organization to define and implement new process
Work closely with Product Management Team(s) to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value
Champion the use of metrics and other objective measures by teams to ensure defined process deployment
Qualification
Required
A degree in Engineering or Business (with operations management experience)
Preferred
Training or Certification in Software Development a definite plus!
