Responsibilities
Create and refine 3D bottle and preform designs using SolidWorks
Produce 2D drawings and support manufacturability reviews
Establish and execute FEA simulations and molding simulation workflows
Collaborate with Prototyping, Raw Materials, and Packaging Execution teams
Support line trials, testing, and validation
Prepare technical documentation and maintain CAD organization
Manage scoped engineering tasks and mentor junior engineers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering
4+ years relevant experience in packaging or mechanical design
Proficiency in SolidWorks and FEA (e.g., Ansys, Ls Dyna)
Understanding of mechanical fundamentals (e.g., stress-strain) and PET material behaviors
Exposure to molding fundamentals
Preferred
Master's degree in engineering
Experience with design of HDPE/PP injection‑molded closures
Simulation and line trial experience
Exposure to simulation-driven design optimization
Elementary Proficiency in a foreign language
