Neos Consulting Group is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer for a contract role with their client in Austin, TX. This position involves supporting the planning and engineering of cloud infrastructure for a critical water data system, while providing technical guidance to internal teams.

Responsibilities

Support the planning, design, support, and engineering of the agency’s cloud computing infrastructure for a critical water data system

Work closely with the internal Security and Networking team to develop and refine procedures related to cloud technologies

Provide technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders

Qualification

Amazon Web ServicesPythonPostgres SQLUbuntu serverApplication development

Required

8 years of experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting applications for computer/software systems

8 years of experience analyzing customer service requirements and designing application solutions to meet those objectives

8 years of experience directing the development process from conception to completion and support, while overseeing the efforts of all associated technical staff

5 years of experience with Amazon Web Services, to include the management and support of EC2 instances, S3 storage, Route 53, and CloudWatch

5 years of experience managing and supporting Ubuntu server operating systems

5 years of experience managing and supporting Postgres SQL databases

5 years of experience with Python
