Responsibilities
Document and improve business processes across billing, meter reading, payments, call center, and customer operations
Identify gaps and design improved workflows that support efficiency and customer experience
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand processes and recommend improvements
Use customer and billing data from CIS systems to support analysis and decision-making
Maintain clear, up-to-date process documentation to support continuity and compliance
Collaborate with SEMCO Energy and Washington Gas teams to identify shared opportunities
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in business process analysis, operations, billing, or customer systems
Experience with enterprise financial or billing systems (SAP IS-Utilities, MV90, or similar preferred)
Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
Lean Six Sigma and/or CBAP, CCBA, or equivalent business analysis certification
Ability to travel to our Springfield, VA office (approx. once per 2-3 months)

Experience with enterprise financial or billing systems (SAP IS-Utilities, MV90, or similar preferred)
