Mathematical Statistician
Air Force Civilian Service is seeking a full-time Mathematical Statistician to support the mission of preventing behaviors that limit force readiness. The role involves analyzing complex behavioral problems and collaborating with teams in policy and behavioral science.

Support the mission of preventing behaviors that limit force readiness, such as suicide and sexual assault
Analyze complex behavioral problems using Power BI, Python, and R
Work closely with teams in policy, behavioral science, and communications
Qualification
Required
US citizenship is required
A Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution in mathematics, statistics, or a closely related scientific discipline is highly desired
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Mastery knowledge of mathematical statistics to apply new analytical developments, methodologies, and research findings to broad studies of an unprecedented nature
Mastery knowledge of research techniques and ability to obtain information concerning subject studies to perform sound analyses
Skill in coordinating extensive projects in assigned areas of responsibility. Projects are characterized by high visibility, unusual urgency, or program criticality
Ability to identify the significant variables and determine their underlying relationships and use advanced techniques and the modification and extension of theories, precepts, and practices of mathematical statistics and related sciences and disciplines
