Orion Industries is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to manage the shipping and receiving of materials and products. The role involves assisting with inventory, mentoring program participants, and operating a forklift safely while supporting the goals of the Orion team.

Responsibilities

Shipping and receiving of materials and products utilizing outlined processes

Assist with inventory, receiving, shipping, and miscellaneous projects as assigned

Maintain procedures, work instructions and policies as required by area of responsibility as assigned

Mentor Program Participants on work tasks and provide feedback as necessary

Operate forklift in a safe and efficient manner

Support all stakeholders of Orion team fully to achieve company, departmental, and personal goals and objectives

Participate in team and company meetings as required

Role model proper work ethics and behaviors

Role model proper hygiene and appropriate work attire

Required

High School diploma or equivalent required

Shipping and receiving experience utilizing various packing, picking, and shipping processes

Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications

Ability to work independently as well as collectively

Customer service skills; able to relate well to all internal and external customers
