Mid, Senior LevelThe University of Utah is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate to join the lab of Dr. Maggie French. This position will involve collecting functional data about motor function, mood, and cognition from individuals with stroke using a variety of remote monitoring methods and analyzing this data to understand complex relationships between functional domains.

Recruiting and enrolling participants
Managing remote data collection
Analyzing remotely collected and clinical data
Disseminating findings through publications and presentations
Contributing to the development of research questions and analytical approaches
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of engineers, rehabilitation providers, and informaticians
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Rehabilitation Science, or a related field
Demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description
Preferred
Experience with wearable sensors and/or remote monitoring approaches
Strong programming skills (e.g., R, Python, or similar)
Strong writing skills
