Cultural Resources Project Manager – Southern California

The role involves managing cultural resource studies, overseeing research and field surveys, and collaborating with senior staff and agencies.

Responsibilities
Manage cultural resource studies for diverse projects
Oversee research, field surveys, artifact analysis, and mitigation monitoring
Collaborate with senior cultural resources staff
Coordinate with agencies and Tribal representatives
Prepare technical reports and proposals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher in archaeology, anthropology, history, or related field
6+ years of archaeological project experience, including CEQA/NEPA/NHPA Section 106 compliance
2+ years of experience working for an environmental consulting firm and/or agency
Experience in the study of Southern California prehistoric and historic archaeology
Strong research, technical writing, and organizational skills
Valid CA driver's license and clean driving record
Preferred
Professional experience with Native American coordination/communication
Registered Professional Archaeologist (or ability and willingness to obtain)
Knowledge of southern California local agency guidelines for CEQA compliance
Professional experience with agency coordination
Existing client relationships
Experience preparing proposals including a scope of work and/or budget
