Responsibilities

Purchases, receives, and inventories hardware and equipment required to accomplish non-standard equipment prototypes, fabrications, modifications, and repairs to IFRCO equipment and meet Product Directorate (PD) IFRCO mission requirements
Performs logistics services and warehouse management operations that include receiving, shipping, packaging for transportation, inventorying, disposal, hazardous material certification and handling at Government Leased or Owned Facilities in CONUS and OCONUS PD IFRCO locations
Will provide logistics support for testing efforts/events at various Government Test Sites
Coordinate equipment/parts accounting, materials processing, storage, and repair/return activities
Extended TDY (up to 2-3 week duration CONUS, up to 4-5 week duration OCONUS) may be required
TDY may be up to 45% of time (+/-40% CONUS, +/-5% OCONUS [PACOM])
TDY time often includes extended work hours
Will provide warehouse/logistics support to the Integrated Fires Office/Distribution Center (as required) and at Test Sites, including but not limited to the following:
Plan, organize, and support day-to-day operations
Coordinate equipment/parts accounting, materials processing, storage, and repair/return activities
Schedule, coordinate, and monitor shipments of equipment to/from CONUS and OCONUS locations
Operate supply accountability systems, upload inventory information to IUID registers, and utilize RFID technologies
Perform planning for and assist in the loading and offloading of equipment onto various modes of transport
Work will be performed in places such as warehouse facilities, airfields, test sites, equipment storage yards, and office facilities. At times work may be performed in inclement weather conditions
Use hand and power tools to open/remove crate materials, and to build or assemble crates, skids, or other packaging
Operate forklifts, telehandlers, and trucks of various capacities

Required

Bachelor's degree (Preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience
Valid Driver's License
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a warehouse setting
Dept. of Defense SECRET security clearance
Ability to work and perform tasks as part of a team, including two person lifts and carries of materials
Physical ability to perform activities such as climbing up/down ladders and stairs, walking on uneven or obstacle filled terrain, standing, bending, and lifting/carrying equipment (up to 50 lbs.) for the duration of a typical workday
Knowledge of shipping and warehouse management practices

Preferred

Able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and prioritize task to maintain schedules
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Tools
Proficiency in using automated property systems
Proficiency with Catalog Ordering Logistics Tracking System (COLTS) Program Management Suite and Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS)
Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services (DLADS) experience
Strong leadership, partnership, collaboration and teambuilding skills
Strong self-starter, motivated, enthusiastic, innovative, customer service-oriented with a record of success
Able to work without direct supervision, particularly while TDY
Ability to thrive with the rapid pace and constant change associated with the industry and Federal Government
Experience with packaging and transport systems used by Department of Defense
Experience with or exposure to the use of heavy machinery such as forklifts
