Report Developer (Research Analyst 3) – Oregon State Hospital, Salem Campus
Oregon Health Authority is seeking a Report Developer (Research Analyst 3) to join their team at the Oregon State Hospital. The role involves using software to extract data and build custom reports, collaborating with clients to gather requirements, and ensuring the reports are effective and accessible.

Responsibilities
Identify and prioritize reports needing to be developed
Participates in gathering requirements and documentation with clients
Works independently to create the queries and reports
Confirms the utility of the reports with the clients
Works with other partners to monitor the loading of the reports and accessibility to the end-user
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in any discipline that included six-quarter units in statistics or quantitative analysis methods and procedures, and one year experience using computerized applications to independently gather, compile, and analyze data and prepare narrative or statistical reports
Four years of research experience using computerized applications to independently gather, compile, and analyze data and prepare narrative or statistical reports; AND experience using advanced statistical or quantitative analysis computer applications
Extensive experience developing/writing reports
Preferred
Advanced knowledge and experience with data and report writing software: SAP Crystal Reports, Structured Query Language (SQL), Microsoft Visual Studio, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Access)
Experience using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, SAP Business Objects, and Tableau
Ability to skillfully collaborate with multiple stakeholders, work with large and complex data sets, quickly and accurately analyze data, and prepare data visualizations and written reports for lay audiences
Preference will be given to applicants with a minimum of 5 years of experience working with and understanding SQL, SAP Business Objects, Tableau, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, Microsoft Visual Studio and Crystal Reports
