Intern, RFIC Design - Summer 2026
pSemi Corporation is a Murata company driving semiconductor integration, and they are seeking an intern to assist engineers in designing, developing, and characterizing high-performance RFICs for high-volume RFFE products. The role involves supporting products throughout the entire product life cycle, contributing to the development of next-generation RFIC solutions for applications such as 5G NR and 6G technologies.

Responsibilities
Design Validation: Performing lab measurements and create validation report with comparisons vs design expectations
Test and Measurement: Design and implement in both hardware and software custom test benches used for product verification
Product Characterization: Measure, analyze and document data of adherence to product requirements
Derivative Product Design: Assist engineers with the simulation and layout of derivative product designs in Cadence
Qualification
Required
Hands on use of RF measurement equipment to validate performance of CMOS RF ICs
RF measurements – NF, IP3, IP2, matching using smith charts, time domain measurements etc
Knowledge of analog and RF IC Design
Familiarity with analog & RF IC layout techniques
Strength in documentation clarity and completeness
Cooperative team member with a strong sense of urgency and an inquisitive nature
Software tools: Matlab, JMP, Datapower, National Instruments LabView, Cadence, ADS
Fulltime enrollment in accredited Bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineer (must be completing 3+ year); MSEE or PhD candidate preferred
Preferred
RF/analog IC product characterization and RF measurement techniques with strong technical skills
Experience or strong interest in AI/ML and/or scripting is a plus
