Responsibilities

Review, verify, process, and reconcile accounts payable invoices including but not limited to:
Assurance of invoice accuracy
Maintenance of back up documentation
Reconciliation and receipt against purchase orders
Timely vendor payments
Adherence to company expenditure processing procedures
Adherence to company records retention policies
Monitor company purchasing transactions, including vendor statement reconciliation, vendor invoices, and credit card based purchases in order to assist in adherence to budgets and approved spend
Collaborate and communicate effectively with the operations, including Purchasing team members, and finance teams ensuring appropriate teams are aware of expenditure status, issues, and impacts
Participate in meetings and provide administrative support to site operations
Organize and maintain electronic and physical filing systems
Assist in streamlining and improving accounts payable processes
Strengthen and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers, responding promptly and professionally to vendor inquiries

Required

Minimum three years of experience in administrative, accounting, or finance roles—or equivalent combination of education and experience
Working knowledge of modern accounting principles and computerized financial systems
Familiarity with accounts payable functions
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Proficient in Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Drive, Calendar, Meet, Slides)
Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail, time management, and multitasking ability
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and uphold high standards of accuracy
A collaborative team player committed to maintaining a quality work environment
Be able to work independently and problem solve effectively
