$18.50/hr - $18.50/hrPeople Architects is partnering with the Cleveland Museum of Natural History to recruit a Seasonal Land Steward for their Natural Areas Program. This role involves supporting conservation efforts by managing invasive species and restoring native habitats across Northeast Ohio.

Responsibilities
Support invasive plant management and eradication using a variety of tools and techniques
Assist with maintaining and restoring native plant communities
Map invasive and rare plant populations using GPS and drone data
Collect field data and complete accurate data entry
Analyze GPS and aerial survey data and support GIS mapping efforts
Assist with plant identification using taxonomic field guides
Help coordinate onsite work with contractors, volunteers, and local partners
Pitch in on other stewardship and conservation projects as needed
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Curiosity and genuine passion for conservation, science, and the natural world
Familiarity with Northeast Ohio flora and fauna (or a strong desire to learn)
Interest in learning invasive species management techniques
Strong judgment, professionalism, and ability to work as part of a collaborative team
Good time management and organizational skills
Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
