Responsibilities

Partner with business and IT stakeholders to translate strategic goals into actionable technology solutions that drive value across commercial logistics operations
Lead the identification, documentation, and analysis of business requirements, leveraging your understanding of end-to-end logistics processes—including railroad, trucking and marine transportation—to recommend and implement system enhancements
Conduct feasibility studies, support small capital projects, and ensure business needs are met through effective requirements management, process mapping, and solution delivery
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of business cases, facilitate training, and maintain clear, high-quality documentation throughout the project lifecycle
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize systems, manage vendor relationships, and support software upgrades and renewals
Analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement, ensuring logistics operations remain agile and innovative
Proactively resolve user issues, support change initiatives, and foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning
Build strong relationships across business and IT, champion best practices, and help deliver solutions that enable future success

Required

Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science or a related field
3+ years of experience in business analysis, requirements management, or related IT roles
Legally authorized to work in the job posting country

Preferred

5 or more years of IT experience in functional support, business analysis, or project roles
Functional knowledge of logistics processes, including truck, rail, and marine transportation
Experience with SAP S/4 HANA (preferably MM/SD modules) and integrations with third-party commercial systems
Background in the oil & gas industry, with an understanding of commercial contracts and deals-to-dollars business processes
Proven ability to drive process improvements, facilitate training, and support digital transformation initiatives
Innovation mindset and experience supporting a culture of continuous improvement and learning
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable solutions
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of building relationships across business and IT teams
Ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver on commitments, and adapt to changing business needs
