Quality Assurance Coordinator for Residential Services
STAR, Inc. is a non-profit located in Norwalk, CT that provides support services to adults with developmental/intellectual disabilities. They are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Coordinator to develop and oversee compliance systems for their Residential Services program.
Individual & Family Services
Responsibilities
Develop and oversee systems to ensure compliance with all the state and federal regulatory requirements for our group homes and apartments Residential Services program
Preparing for audits
Developing policies and procedures
Overseeing safety issues as they arise
Submitting reporting data to various agencies
Ensuring our staff are following the proper quality standards for our participants
Working with our residential director and group home managers to ensure our properties meet the requirements set out by the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and other regulatory agencies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
Supervisory experience in a residential or related setting
Strong multitasker
Compassion and ability to see the potential in everyone
Positivity and a team-player attitude
Preferred
Previous experience with the Department of Developmental Services
