Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day functions of the maintenance team
Supervise preventive maintenance schedules, preventive and predictive inspections, and repairs to minimize downtime
Create and grow a workforce that is representative of diversity initiatives
Oversee training and safety of the entire Shop team
Create and manage team member development plans
Establish strong team member relations and provide support for people development, coaching and mentoring with a laser focus on teamwork
Provide hands-on assistance and expertise knowledge to team members to complete maintenance-related functions
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, welding, and robotic systems
Create a preventative maintenance system that will ensure minimal production line disturbances
Assign and track all Preventative Maintenance Activities utilizing SAP and Ranger
Support Strategic Planning for line maintenance efficiency
Support new equipment introduction
Spare parts setup and management
Able to travel off-site for training and equipment buy-offs when needed

Required

3-5 years in a fast-paced manufacturing facility
Previous Maintenance Leadership experience in a manufacturing facility
Familiarity utilizing SAP
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or 3-5 years of equivalent professional experience in a plant maintenance leadership position
Ability to read and interpret documents such as governmental regulations, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Ability to communicate in a high-pressure environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
The employee is occasionally required to walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus
In the performance of the duties of this job the employee is required to travel, drive a motor vehicle, communicate using telephone and e-mail
