The role involves assisting the Purchasing Manager in sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials critical to production while ensuring a cost-effective supply chain.

Responsibilities

Assist in the sourcing and evaluation of suppliers for raw materials, components, and outsourced services

Issue purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure on-time arrival of materials

Evaluate supplier performance and maintain positive, long-term vendor relationships

Work with the quality department to resolve material non-conformances or performance issues

Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation within ERP/MRP systems

Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement and supply chain functions

Required

Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
