Emergency Dept Associate-Emergency Department

Responsibilities
Transport lab specimens and medications that are needed to appropriate units/departments
Ensure safe patient monitoring during transport and troubleshoot cardiac monitors' alarms, parameters, and equipment
Demonstrate knowledge of appropriate technology systems and have basic computer skills
Ensure the provision of quality patient care and safety during transport of patients through utilization of safety devices and close observation
Responsible for other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School graduate or equivalent or higher degree is required
EKG/ECG Interpretation Class Or Work Experience Is Required
Less than 1 year in a Healthcare setting is required
Current American Heart Association Heart Saver or higher required
Preferred
Basic Computer Skills Are Preferred
EKG/ECG Interpretation Certification is preferred
