Financial Case Manager

They are seeking an energetic crew member for the Financial Case Manager position with Case Central, where the role involves providing comprehensive financial analysis and retirement planning support to Financial Service Professionals.

Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and summarize financial information provided by agent/advisor
Create financial planning reports and run products illustrations as instructed
Work to become a resource for our agents/advisors regarding our software, our products, and key financial planning concepts
Analyze investments using various software tools, including Morningstar and our internal software
Provide case redesign based on progression of case/appointment process for informational purposes
Manage communication among parties involved, including Case Central team members, Gradient team members and the agent/advisor
Meet required measurable, by maintaining equivalent percentage of workload by report type
Upon reviewing the case, aid the sales process by identifying case design opportunities including: additional reports that may add value, strategies the Financial Services Professional (FSP) could implement, potential product categories that could benefit the consumer
Identify case design opportunities to provide referrals to Gradient companies
Provide final review of case design information for all team members
Consult with FSP on case design information
Manage internal and external customer relationships; partner with team members to ensure and maintain positive relationship management
Provide direct correspondence and support for FSP inquiries, including calls, emails and face-to-face; assist team members with elevated inquires
Create presentations, educate and train internal employees
Promote and implement accurate and up-to-date understanding of trends, best practices, and prevailing attitudes and approaches
Promote and implement technology enhancements
Partner to determine, initiate, and lead key initiatives
Provide suggestions for new or enhanced events and/or services, assist in the development of events/services, and provide ongoing feedback to management
Provide ongoing training and growth for team members
Initiate and work with team members to promote collaboration and team development
Be a resource to team members to answer questions regarding client correspondence, processes and procedures, compliance, and all other as necessary
Partner to troubleshoot issues that team members may have
Provide training and insight to team members on best practices
Provide day-to-day management of department including directing employees under your supervision
Recruit prospective employees to company
Provide performance evaluations employees under your supervision
Partner with HR to discipline and discharge employees
Effectively manage time and attendance system for all assigned employees
All other duties as assigned

Required

Certified Financial Planner Designation (CFP) – Required
Bachelor's Degree – Required
3+ Years of relevant experience, internal or external – Required
Series 65 or 7/66 – Required

Preferred

Advanced knowledge of annuities, insurance, securities, and investment advisory products and services
Advanced knowledge in key financial planning topics and retirement strategies
Ability to train FSPs regarding key financial planning topics and strategies
Advanced ability to problem-solve
Advanced ability to make strategic decisions
Advanced ability to provide a high level of professionalism with internal and external clients via face-to-face, phone and e-mail
Advanced ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
