Departmental Analyst (Trainee) 9-P11
The State of Michigan is seeking a Departmental Analyst (Trainee) to support the programs and services within the System Security, Risk and Compliance Section. The role involves performing research and data analysis, compiling metrics, and providing recommendations to enhance program service delivery.

Responsibilities
Performing research and data analysis
Compiling and reconciling program metrics
Providing recommendations to SRC management and OCTO executive leadership on process improvements
Compiling, analyzing, and reconciling security, risk and compliance metrics
Maintaining, implementing, and/or evaluating service area training, documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Participating in special projects
Delivering presentations
Attending meetings
Working with peers and management to resolve issues and mitigate risk
Contributing to continuous improvement of SRC services by participating in workgroups
Tracking and aligning metrics
Assisting in the development and implementation of the SRC section’s strategic goals
Qualification
Required
Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major
Departmental Analyst 9: No specific type or amount is required
Departmental Analyst 10: One year of professional experience
Departmental Analyst P11: Two years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service
Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school
Four years of experience as an advanced 9-level worker in an ECP Group One classification
Three years of experience as an E9, E10, or E11-level worker in an ECP Group One classification
Two years of experience as an experienced level worker in an ECP Group One technician or paraprofessional classification
Two years of experience as a first-line supervisor in an ECP Group Three classification
One year of experience as a second-line supervisor in an ECP Group Three classification
