Manager, Corporate Communications
ESAB Corporation is a global leader in fabrication technology and specialty gas control equipment. The Corporate Communications Manager will be responsible for executing the company's communications strategy, managing public relations, and enhancing executive visibility through content management and social media strategies.

Responsibilities
Assist Vice President of Corporate Communications with executing the Company’s Corporate Communications strategy and approach across the organization
Develop press engagement strategy for new global product innovations and nonrevenue news announcements
Develop and manage content strategy to increase executive visibility for ESAB’s executive leadership team
Develop and execute corporate social media strategy to increase Company reputation
Work in partnership with Global Marketing to generate company communications for both internal/external stakeholders
Work hand-in-hand with various business units, including HR, Business Regions, Global Marketing, Strategy & Business Development, Product, Finance and Global Operations to drive awareness and understanding around companywide initiatives, new innovations, campaigns and more
Liaise with network of communication contacts within regions and support functions
Contribute and manage content on corporate website
Assist the Talent Acquisition team in creating employment-related content and communications, promoting the company for potential candidates
Monitor external communications platform analytics and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
Liaise with investor relations on financial communications to business press
Contribute to cross-functional projects, as required
Qualification
Required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong project management skills
Advanced media relations and crisis management experience
Advanced social media and content management
Excellent presentation skills
Proven experience creating and implementing media campaigns
Editorial management and copywriting
Proven experience working for a publicly-traded global organization or media agency
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while managing multiple projects. Highly organized and strong attention to detail
Basic understanding of the components of common web technology (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
Fundamental understanding of visual and web design
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with diplomacy
High level of comfort with social software and other web-based technologies Team player with proven experience working well with others to maintain and build cross-functional (internal and external) relationships
Resourceful, self-starter
MAC and MSFT Office suite of programs
Must provide portfolio of writing samples and project management experience
Experience with content creation, email, social media software including WordPress
Meta Business Manager
Hootsuite
Campaign Monitor
Canva, Adobe Creative Suite
Experience with media monitoring software (Cision, Meltwater, etc.) Experience with social media monitoring and listening tools (Spinklr, Hootsuite)
Website management experience
Understanding of SEO & Digital Marketing
Familiarity with HTML
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in Marketing, Communications or a related field, with at least 5-7 years in related field experience
Preferred
Experience in public relations, investor relations or change management a plus
Experience managing social media channels and working on creative and innovative social media campaigns for high-profile brands
