Responsibilities

Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns while keeping a close eye on tax law changes to assess their impact

Ensure the timely renewal of business licenses, proactively managing any issues with regulatory agencies

Oversee the integration of accounting software, training staff on proper usage to maintain data integrity

Serve as a key resource, developing educational materials that help teams align with compliance standards

Support audits and prepare compliance reports, identifying tax savings opportunities that benefit the organization

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

3+ years of experience in accounting

Strong research and attention to detail skills

Ability to manage multiple deadlines
