Business Analyst 1/2 (02-4123)

NEOGOV is seeking a Business Analyst I/II to join the Integrated Resource Information System (IRIS) Human Resource/Payroll team within the Division of Finance. This role involves contributing expert-level human resource knowledge and exceptional customer service to support the State's HR/Payroll system, including project deliverables and system enhancements.

Responsibilities

Participate in the design, review, validation, verification, quality assurance, and control of system upgrades, enhancements, and system functionality
Serve as a subject matter expert for human resource offices and agencies by providing guidance and assistance in researching and resolving problems and questions from agency staff. This includes being a resource to resolve and perform complex transactions, audits and payroll processing functions
Organize and oversee meetings independently or as part of a team with departments or entities
Contributing and completing assigned project deliverables in accordance with the project work plan
Participate in project risk planning to include identification, prioritization, analysis, mitigation, and tracking of project risks
Develop and draft procedures, processes and learning material(s)

Required

Only experience in the areas of Payroll/Human Resources will be considered
Two years of professional experience in an administrative field such as procurement, accounting, human resources, computer and information systems, and so on
For positions in the specialized field of accounting, four years of advanced technical and/or supervisory accounting experience
Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, business administration, business management, marketing, economics, statistics, computer and information science, logistics, or information systems management, or similar coursework will substitute for up to one year of the required experience
Two years of advanced professional experience in an administrative field such as procurement, accounting, human resources, computer and information systems, and so on
Graduate or upper-division post-secondary education in accounting, finance, business administration, business management, marketing, economics, statistics, computer and information science, logistics, information systems management, or similar coursework will substitute for up to one year of the required advanced professional experience
