Regional Marketing Manager
Bank of Marin is a growing public company, and they are seeking a Regional Marketing Manager to develop and execute localized marketing strategies in the Sacramento region. The role involves collaborating with the Commercial Banking division and the broader Marketing Team to support growth initiatives and enhance brand visibility.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement localized and targeted marketing strategies, presentations and campaigns to increase visibility and engagement within the Sacramento region
Research and recommend publications and advertising channels that elevate our brand presence in Sacramento
Act as a community connector, facilitating the introduction and enhancing relationships with key organizations and Bank of Marin
Assist with prospecting efforts through tailored outreach strategies and collateral
Provide marketing insights and tools that help bankers strengthen client relationships
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions
Collaborate with the Marketing Team to develop localized content for newsletters, social media, and sponsored advertising
Ensure consistent brand messaging across all regional marketing activities
Contribute to internal communications that highlight Sacramento market successes and initiatives
In conjunction with the Community Engagement Manager, identify opportunities for community sponsorships, partnerships, and community involvement that align with our brand and business objectives
Identify and recommend regional and industry marketing sponsorship opportunities that enhance brand visibility and strengthen relationships
Partner with the Marketing and Events Manager to plan and coordinate client‑facing events in Sacramento, ensuring alignment with broader business priorities
Assist with prospecting efforts through tailored outreach strategies and collateral
Support company-wide events and initiatives, providing project management, logistical and creative input as needed
Manage event budgets, vendor relationships, and post-event reporting
Track performance of regional marketing efforts, including event ROI, campaign engagement, and lead generation
Prepare regular reports and recommendations for leadership on marketing impact in the Sacramento market
Qualification
Required
5 – 7 years related experience and/or training
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of experience and/or training
Strong marketing program development, copywriting, communication, analytical, and relationship building skills
Strong negotiation skills, ability to find the win-win solution for everyone involved and graciously negotiate a positive outcome while having to decline a request
Strategic Thinking: ability to align marketing initiatives with business objectives and regional growth goals
Relationship Building: skilled at collaborating with internal teams, external partners, and community organizations
Project Management: effective organizational skills to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
Highly detail-oriented: focused on accuracy, consistency, and quality in all deliverables
Creativity & Innovation: ability to develop fresh ideas for localized marketing and engagement
Communication: clear, persuasive written and verbal communication skills
Advanced professional image, and able to represent Bank of Marin in a positive way
Has a basic knowledge of all our personal and business products and services, and current knowledge of our competitive advantage in the banking environment as well as changes in the business environment
Ability to regularly work flexible hours is a requirement (early mornings, late evenings, and weekends)
