Responsibilities

Build and ship product features across backend systems and user-facing applications
Translate complex, ambiguous business requirements into clean, working code
Design and maintain RESTful and developer-facing APIs
Implement AI-powered and agentic features within the product
Participate in architecture discussions, technical planning, and code reviews
Own features through the full development lifecycle, from concept to production

Qualification

Backend systemsRESTful APIsAI/ML integrationModern programming languagesFintech experienceAsynchronous workflow toolsCollaborative communication

Required

Strong experience building backend systems and RESTful APIs
Demonstrated ability to turn complex business logic into complete, working solutions
Experience embedding AI/ML or agentic systems into user-facing applications
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Kotlin, TypeScript, Go, Java, Python, Rust, etc.)
Comfortable working across the stack in a fast-paced, early-stage environment

Preferred

Experience designing and documenting developer APIs
Background in fintech or early-stage startups
Experience with Kotlin backends or asynchronous workflow tools (e.g., Temporal)
Familiarity with financial systems or markets
