The role involves troubleshooting and resolving escalated HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building envelope issues while collaborating with contractors and maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve escalated HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building envelope issues
Conduct root-cause analysis and recommend long-term solutions for building systems
Support operations across multiple properties as needed
Collaborate on water intrusion, moisture, and environmental concerns (experience preferred, not required)
Partner with contractors, architects, and vendors to execute system upgrades and capital projects
Maintain accurate documentation, preventative maintenance records, and building condition reports

Required

Experience as a Building Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or senior facilities role
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
Experience with Class A, commercial, luxury residential, or multi-site buildings
Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, work independently, and manage projects
Excellent communication and coordination skills

Preferred

Experience with water intrusion, moisture issues, or mold remediation
Environmental compliance knowledge
EPA 608 certification or willingness to obtain
IICRC WRT/AMRT certification (employer support provided)
Experience supporting CapEx or system upgrade projects
