Appliance Technician

The Appliance Technician is responsible for accurate diagnoses and repair of consumer electronics and appliances in the Service Center, ensuring proper documentation and communication with retail store associates.

Ensures accurate documentation of service orders
Maintains a safe and clean work environment
Performs repairs in accordance with manufacturer specs and in a timely efficient manner
Communicates with retail store associates on product usage and training

Qualification

Consumer electronics knowledgeTroubleshooting skillsReading schematicsBasic PC skillsType I EPA CertificationMechanical aptitudeTime managementEffective communication

Required

Knowledge of most common consumer electronics and/or appliances
Experienced in trouble shooting to modular level
Ability to read schematics, research part and product information
Basic PC skills with the ability to navigate service software and vendor websites
No minimum experience required
Strong time management skills
Strong mechanical aptitude
Strong PC skills
Ability to lift-up to 40 lbs. independently and greater than 40 lbs. with assistance

Preferred

2 years of technical experience preferred
Type I EPA Certification preferred for appliance technicians
