Responsibilities

Implement, manage, and enforce information system security controls in accordance with DoD and federal requirements (e.g., NIST, RMF, DFARS)

Oversee and manage the Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle for classified systems

Develop, implement, and maintain system security plans (SSPs), POA&Ms, security policies, procedures, and supporting documentation

Coordinate and lead security assessments, audits, inspections, and tabletop exercises

Monitor, assess, and remediate system vulnerabilities and security incidents

Maintain system authorization documentation and support audits, inspections, and compliance activities

Administer user accounts, access controls, and authentication mechanisms

Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IT systems, networks, and end-user devices

Perform system patching, backups, updates, and continuity-of-operations support

Maintain system security plans (SSPs), procedures, and technical documentation

Provide configuration management for security-relevant information system software and hardware

Coordinate with government customers, auditors, and internal stakeholders on IT and security matters

Support security awareness training and policy enforcement
