Assistant Project Coordinator
Summit Leadership Partners is seeking an Assistant Project Coordinator to provide operational and administrative support for effective project execution. The individual will manage scheduling, coordinate with external vendors, and maintain project visibility while ensuring clear internal communication.

Responsibilities
Provide operational and administrative support to the Operations team to ensure effective project execution
Manage high-volume scheduling for internal teams, consultants, and clients, including calendar coordination and meeting logistics
Administer, track, and manage requests for online assessments, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
Serve as an operational point of contact for external vendors, coordinating timelines, deliverables, and follow-up
Maintain and update project schedules, files, and internal tracking tools to support visibility and progress
Monitor task status and proactively follow up with internal teams to support project timelines
Support internal communication by sharing schedules, updates, and meeting information as directed
Handle core office coordination tasks, including supply ordering, facilities requests, and coordinating lunches
Identify and support improvements to operational processes to increase efficiency and consistency
Build and maintain an understanding of end-to-end project coordination processes
Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
Handle various administrative tasks as assigned, with initiative and good judgment
Maintain strictest confidentiality
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
2-3 years of applicable work experience in an administrative or operations support role
Experience managing complex calendars and scheduling across multiple stakeholders to support project coordination and timelines
Strong client-facing and internal communication skills
Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail, time-management and multi-tasking abilities
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines in an ever-changing environment, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
Process-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to work out of the corporate office at least 1 day per week
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
Preferred
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics
Experience in a consulting or services firm environment
Experience in a fast-paced, startup environment
