Responsibilities
Manage key components of the annual budgeting process, quarterly re-forecasts, and long-range planning efforts
Own the corporate financial model, maintaining high-fidelity forecasts for P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
Analyze complex datasets to develop insights and actionable recommendations for the Executive Team
Develop detailed financial models to support planning, corporate initiatives, and long-term forecasting
Build dashboards, reporting templates, and planning models that improve visibility into performance and future projections
Contribute to materials for the Executive Team and Board, including financial updates, performance insights, and strategic analyses
Drive deep analysis into key SaaS metrics, including ARR Waterfall, NRR/GRR, CAC Payback, LTV, and gross margins
Act as the dedicated finance partner to Executives and their operational leaders across departments (Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Security)
Partner with Engineering and DevOps to track and forecast COGS, specifically focusing on cloud hosting costs (AWS/Azure) to maintain healthy Gross Margins
Partner with Marketing leadership to develop marketing funnel conversion performance analysis, Campaign performance, and ROI analysis
Conduct monthly budget vs. actual reviews, helping leaders understand their variances and manage their budgets
Provide guidance, coaching, and development for junior team members
Contribute to building a collaborative, high-performing FP&A team environment as the function grows
Encourage an accountability and ownership mindset, curiosity, proactive analysis, and continuous improvement within the FP&A team
Bring forward ideas on improving processes, reporting, and analytical rigor
Qualification
Required
Experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex datasets
Experience in developing financial models and forecasts
Ability to partner with cross-functional leaders and act as a dedicated finance partner
Experience in managing budgeting processes and long-range planning efforts
Strong understanding of SaaS metrics such as ARR Waterfall, NRR/GRR, CAC Payback, LTV, and gross margins
Experience in building dashboards and reporting templates
Ability to mentor and develop junior team members
Strong communication skills to present insights and recommendations to the Executive Team
Experience in conducting budget vs. actual reviews
Ability to improve financial processes and analytical rigor
