Responsibilities
Product RF Design Engineers apply their expertise in all aspects of product design from concept, architecture definition, integration and prototyping, to final production
They work closely with wireless and software architects, industrial designers, and product designers to guide and sculpt the product with an eye towards optimizing RF functionality for the user
They will work closely with manufacturing teams to support builds from prototype phase to mass production
Responsibilities will include:
Antenna design, EM simulation, and prototype HW design
Integration of various wireless technologies, such as cellular, GPS, Wifi, and NFC into products
Schematic and PCB/flex layout
Qualification
Required
BSEE or equivalent education
Coursework or experience in antenna/RF design, wireless communications, EM, or circuits
Experience in antenna design including simulation, mockup skill and architecture investigation
Experience in RF measurement and desense
Preferred
Experience in integration of wireless technologies such as cellular, GPS, Wifi, and NFC into products
Experience in RF schematic and PCB layout practices and guidelines
Hands-on experience with RF lab instrumentation
Ability to debug desense issues and characterize noise sources
Experience with production environment and statistical analysis
Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate effectively across cultures and geographical locations
Strong collaborator, with ability to build strong relationships both within and outside the team
