Responsibilities
Managing the Badass Animal Rescue Inc. development department. Including but not limited to overseeing a team of volunteers and providing training and support as needed; maintaining the donor database, building relationships with major donors; overseeing all online fundraising campaigns
Managing the Badass donate inbox, ensuring all emails are addressed
Working with Marketing Team to create communication materials and timelines in connection with in-person and digital fundraising events
Overseeing our fundraising/donor database
Cultivating strategic partnerships with local businesses to raise funds and awareness for Badass Animal Rescue Inc
Leading the production of all fundraising materials
Event planning and attendance
Developing and implementing annual Development Strategy for the organization, as well as monitor and report on all key metrics as discussed
Assisting with other projects and tasks as specified by Executive Director
Qualification
Required
Excellent writing and editing skills
Attention to detail, critical-thinker and problem-solver
Experience and understanding nonprofit fundraising databases and landscape
Friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude
Ability to work in a small, start-up like environment
Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
Excellent interpersonal skills
A love of animals and a commitment to our mission
