Responsibilities

Prospecting & Lead Generation
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, community involvement, and referral relationships. Build and maintain a strong pipeline to consistently meet and exceed production goals
Discovery & Needs Analysis
Lead meaningful fact-finding conversations to understand client goals, exposures, and risk tolerance. Use your expertise to design tailored insurance solutions from our portfolio of top-tier carriers
Referral Relationship Development
Cultivate trusted, long-term relationships with local professionals and community partners to generate a steady flow of high-quality referrals
New Business Development
Identify opportunities to provide comprehensive coverage for individuals, families, and businesses. Take ownership of the sales process, from strategy through close, to achieve new business objectives
Client-Focused Recommendations
Present customized insurance proposals clearly and confidently, articulating coverage options, value, and recommendations so clients can make informed decisions
Client Advocacy & Follow-Up
Act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process, providing guidance, follow-up, and accountability to build lasting client relationships and strong retention
Technology & Workflow Management
Leverage the agency’s cutting-edge technology and tools to manage leads, streamline workflows, and enhance the overall client experience
Industry & Market Awareness
Stay current on insurance trends, carrier appetite, and legislative changes to deliver informed, strategic guidance to clients

Qualification

Insurance sales experienceInsurance license 2-20Insurance license 4-40Applied Epic familiarityClient advocacyRelationship building

Required

Previous Insurance experience- ideally 1+ years in sales
Valid 2-20 or 4-40 insurance license (or ability to obtain one quickly)

Preferred

Familiarity with Applied Epic or similar agency management systems
