Responsibilities

Investigating the basis of sleep dysfunction in neurodegenerative diseases
Exploring sleep- and wake-promoting nuclei in human brain tissue using neuroanatomical, neuropathological, and molecular tools to generate biological insights with clinical relevance
Correlating brain pathology with antemortem clinical and imaging data

Qualification

Ph.D. in neuroscienceNeuroanatomyNeurodegenerative diseasesMammalian anatomyQuantitative stereologyMolecular approaches

Required

Ph.D. in neuroscience, neuroanatomy, or a related field with a strong interest in neurodegenerative diseases

Preferred

Preferred experience in mammalian anatomy, quantitative stereology, and the integration of neuroanatomical and molecular approaches
