Senior Tax Associate

Responsibilities
Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for small businesses (S-corps, partnerships, LLCs, and closely held C-corps)
Provide tax advisory services related to business transactions, including entity structuring, acquisitions, dispositions, and reorganizations
Assist clients with tax planning strategies to support growth, cash flow, and long-term goals
Research and interpret complex tax issues and communicate recommendations clearly to clients
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver proactive, value-added tax solutions
Support junior staff through review, training, and mentorship
Stay current on tax law changes affecting small and mid-sized businesses
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA or EA required
4+ years of tax experience, preferably serving small or mid-sized businesses
Strong knowledge of business taxation and multi-entity structures
Experience providing tax planning and advisory support, not just compliance
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines
Proficiency with tax preparation and research software
