Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the monthly general ledger close across multiple entities
Review and evaluate general ledger activity and ensure proper U.S. GAAP treatment for significant and complex transactions
Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable operations; assist with troubleshooting escalated issues
Drive process improvements to streamline the close timeline while strengthening internal controls
Partner with Payroll, Billing, Sales, and Operations on revenue recognition, margin analysis, and accounting accuracy
Support system enhancements, integrations, and upgrades—including testing and implementation
Prepare and review monthly P&Ls, division-level reporting, and quarterly financial statements (BS, IS, CF, Equity)
Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies for all financial reporting and disclosures
Research and implement new accounting standards as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting from a U.S.-based, accredited institution
3–6 years of total accounting experience
+ Public accounting (audit)
+ OR a strong public/private blend
+ OR corporate accounting with CPA completed
Very strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas)
A polished, stable career history with clear progression
Preferred
CPA or parts completed
Experience reviewing the work of others (formal supervisory experience not required)
