Responsibilities
Serve as the campus subject matter expert and program owner for the full lifecycle management of university-owned end-user and departmental hardware
Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of hardware lifecycle programs, including PC as a Service (PCaaS)
Evaluate technology solutions, vendor options, lifecycle cost models, and system integrations
Develop hardware standards, refresh strategies, and operational workflows in collaboration with IT engineering teams, Procurement, Accounting, and Information Security
Develop and maintain lifecycle processes and system integrations that support procurement, deployment, inventory control, refresh scheduling, and secure retirement of hardware assets
Provide advanced analysis and forecasting to support budget planning, service model decisions, and long-range operational planning for campus hardware services
Qualification
Required
Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field and four years of relevant experience
Additional experience which demonstrates acquired and successfully applied knowledge and abilities shown above may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis
An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis
Preferred
Experience managing hardware lifecycle programs
Experience with TeamDynamix or equivalent asset management tools
Knowledge of environmentally responsible e-waste and surplus practices
