Express Employment Professionals is seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer / Machinist to join a fast-moving, precision-focused shop. This role involves programming, setting up, and running advanced CNC equipment while ensuring high precision and quality in machining parts.

Responsibilities

Program CNC machines using MasterCam

Set up and operate 5-axis Mills , live-tooling Lathes , and Wire EDM machines

Read and interpret complex blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawings

Execute jobs independently with minimal supervision and high precision

Maintain tight tolerances through in-process and final inspections

Troubleshoot machining challenges and optimize processes

Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and quality

Oversee projects from start to finish — from print interpretation to machining, polishing, and final presentation

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualification

Required

5+ years of CNC machining experience or equivalent advanced skill level

High proficiency with MasterCam

Proven experience operating 5-axis milling machines

Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerances, and precision machining principles

Ability to critically think, troubleshoot, and develop effective solutions

Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow

Team-oriented mindset with clear communication skills

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent changeovers

Machining: 2 years (Required)
