Partner Account Manager

Responsibilities
Present the Sage Small Business & Specialty Solutions partner opportunity to prospective partners efficiently aligned with Sage's product, GTM, and business strategies. Collaborate with the Sage SBS Partner Program Manager to best support the opportunities within the channel
Build and manage relationships with the partners as a trusted advisor and single point of contact with partners within Sage and engage with Sage's SBS direct sales teams to resolve partner customer renewals as needed
Track and communicate key performance metrics such as acquisition revenue, product revenue, pipeline strength, and customer renewal rates, and provide feedback for course correction that allows partners to meet or exceed goals
Manage short and complex sales cycles - often involving multiple Sage products and decision makers through strategic planning and securing the appropriate resources (either Sage or Partner) to best support the opportunity at the optimum point in the sales cycle
Create and execute action plans on behalf of the partner to engage appropriate Sage cross-functional teams to contribute to the partner sales and development efforts. This includes working closely with the Sage SBS Partner Program Manager to support the best opportunities within the channel and align on partner/customer communications
Qualification
Required
Autonomous achiever with 1-3+ years of channel experience
Strong understanding of accounting principles, accounting and CRM software, and business process integration, preferably with Sage software and service knowledge
Demonstrated excellence with an integrated solution-selling approach
3-5 years of acquisition sales experience, with a proven ability to build and manage pipelines
1-3 years + Salesforce, SAP, and CRM experience
