Capital Markets Associate

HFD is dedicated to making healthcare more affordable by providing innovative payment solutions. The Capital Markets Associate will support funding strategies, investor reporting, and liquidity management while assisting with financial modeling and market analysis for debt and equity transactions.

Responsibilities

Support execution of capital markets transactions, including equity and debt issuance as well as public and private securitization activities
Prepare investor reports, compliance documentation, and assist with investor requests
Conduct market research and analyze funding opportunities to optimize liquidity
Build and maintain financial models for scenario planning and performance tracking
Monitor market trends, interest rates, and competitor activity to inform strategy
Collaborate with Treasury, FP&A, and Accounting teams to ensure accurate cash forecasting and reporting
Prepare presentations for senior leadership and external stakeholders

Required

Bachelor's degree. Preferably in Science, Physics, Engineering, Math or in Finance, or related field
0–2 years of experience in finance, treasury, or capital markets (internship experience acceptable)
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Familiarity with financial modeling and basic understanding of debt instruments
Excellent communication and organizational skills
High attention to detail and ability to work independently
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial systems is a plus
