Responsibilities

Support electrical and functional testing of rail vehicle subsystems under supervision
Assist with continuity checks, insulation testing, and basic troubleshooting
Help prepare test setups, harness connections, and measurement equipment
Document test results, issues, and observations in accordance with procedures
Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and quality teams in a factory environment

Required

Current sophomore, junior, or senior pursuing a BA/BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field
Availability: 40 hours per week from June to August
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
Strong interest in hands-on technical work and manufacturing environments
Resourceful and eager to learn new systems and tools
Analytical and problem-solving mindset
Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently when needed
Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
Strong communication, documentation, and critical-thinking skills

Preferred

Prior internship, co-op, technical coursework, or hands-on lab experience
Demonstrated interest in transportation, manufacturing, or rail systems
