Responsibilities
Provides a variety of duties while performing Enterprise wide computer technical support and AS400 operations
The computer technician uses a wide selection of tools and skills to triage, diagnose, and repair computer and software problems
The computer technician assists the Programming Staff in running programs, generating reports, and maintaining the AS400 system
They are the primary tier 1 Help Desk staff, and interact with all members of the organization on every shift
Qualification
Required
Self motivated, detailed, deadline and service oriented individual that can accurately set priorities
Written and verbal communication skills
Problem solving skills
Organizational skills
Technical skills
Ability to identify and isolate problems and suggest suitable options for improvements
Ability to perform maintenance and repair of computer related equipment
Preferred
Associate degree in a health care profession, computer science, management information system, or other related degree
Vocational technical school training on computers
At least 2 to 3 years work experience as a computer tech
