Human Resources Process Documentation Intern

Health Plan of San Mateo (HPSM) is a local non-profit health plan that offers health coverage to San Mateo County's underserved population. Responsibilities

Interview subject matter experts, document steps, gather and design screenshots, and test steps
Shadow the HRIS Analyst during system configurations to assist with developing an internal Human Resource Management (HRM) system user guide
Document configuration changes of HRM and develop a glossary of HRM and HPSM terms and fields
Create HRM system user guide
Document HR processes and system workflows
Document configuration change documentation
Create annotated screenshots and visual aids
Develop testing and validation steps
Create HRM and HPSM terminology glossary

Qualification

Public health knowledgeProject management skillsMicrosoft Office proficiencyWritten communicationVerbal communication

Required

Currently enrolled or recent graduate of an undergraduate or graduate degree program in public health, public policy, business administration, social work, social sciences, communications, or related disciplines. Minimum 3.0 GPA
Experience and/or skills that align with one of the projects listed below
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
Applicants must have completed 1 year of their MPH program studies
