They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Battery Storage Operations Supervisor to oversee the operations and maintenance of their battery storage systems, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and optimal performance of energy storage assets.

Responsibilities

Manage on site day-to-day operations of battery storage facilities, including monitoring system performance and coordinating maintenance activities and contractors
Develop and implement site specific operational strategies to maximize system uptime and efficiency
Collaborate with commercial operations, asset management, engineering, and project teams to optimize battery storage design and integration with renewable energy sources
Ensure compliance with safety, commercial obligations, environmental, and regulatory requirements
Oversee the training and development of operations staff, ensuring a high level of competency and adherence to operational procedures
Monitor and analyze performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings
Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on operational performance and key metrics
Other duties as required or assigned

Required

2+ years of proven experience in battery storage operations, preferably in a supervisory or management role
Strong technical knowledge of battery storage systems, inverters, and associated equipment
Familiarity with energy management systems (EMS) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate across departments
Experience with regulatory compliance and safety standards in the energy sector
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
