The internship is designed to provide meaningful work in the energy industry and help students transition from academics to the workforce, with responsibilities including communication, event support, and public relations campaign development.

Responsibilities
Communicating with employees and community organizations through personal contact, telephone calls, meetings, webinars, and email
Supporting and attending Company sponsored events/activities
Developing public relations campaigns for company initiatives
Maintaining volunteer events calendars and communicating with employees about upcoming volunteer events
Maintaining records for community relations programs including contact information of community partners and volunteers
Assisting with event coordination, promotion, and planning, including expense tracking and budget management
Coordinating and scheduling meetings
Preparing written communications, including newsletter articles, social media posts, website listings and more
Capturing photos and videos of community relations events to develop social media and internal communications content
Completing data entry and reporting as part of community relations data and metrics tracking
Conducting corporate citizenship and volunteer related research
Other duties may be assigned
Qualification
Required
Available to work 40 hours per week during the summer
Available to work a minimum of 12 up to a maximum of 20 hours per week during the school year
Must attach a transcript providing proof of at least a 2.75 cumulative GPA for consideration
Must attach transcripts and verification of college/university enrollment at the time of application
Preferred
Full time students studying Marketing, Social Work, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, Business Management or related fields
