Responsibilities
Design, prototype, and debug embedded hardware/firmware systems interfacing with power-system sensors, actuators, and communication networks
Develop embedded software in C/C++ for microcontrollers and processors (Linux/RTOS on ARM, Bare Metal on TI-MSP430) for signal processing and system control
Create and execute board-, system-, and environmental-level test plans to ensure compliance with functional, safety, and EMC standards
Analyze lab data, prepare technical reports, contribute to design reviews, and ensure traceability to C57.15 and internal performance metrics
Collaborate with external design partners and internal teams to review schematics, layouts, and code; manage issues and drive corrective actions
Serve as the primary engineering contact for customer interactions and technical teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
2 or more years of engineering experience required, preferably on electronic product development
Foundational knowledge of microcontroller and microprocessor architectures, peripheral buses, memory maps and communication networks
Understanding of analog/digital interfacing concepts: ADCs, DACs, signal conditioning, and basic power-supply topologies
Familiarity with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, in-circuit debuggers, and automated test equipment
Hands-on experience with C/C++ development in a real-time or Linux environment, including use of version-control and build systems
Strong knowledge of product-lifecycle management (requirements capture, change control, BOM management) and project-management skills
Strong analytical thinking, clear technical writing, and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional, multi-site teams
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
Master's degree preferred
Experience and knowledge of step-voltage regulators is preferred
