Stantec is now accepting applications for Summer 2026 Civil Engineering interns within our Community Development Group in Wisconsin. As an intern, you will work in a team environment and have exposure to community development projects that may include urban design and planning, roadways, and infrastructure design.

Responsibilities

Use technical and communication abilities to complete the civil component of a wide variety of projects in a dynamic design team setting

Inspect construction sites for compliance with project documents and engineering principles

Assist with preparation of plans and specifications, reports, and other project deliverables

Attend meetings on an as needed basis

Complete detailed reports as required

Procure permits and other approvals from various agencies

Communicate effectively with construction and engineering staff, clients, and other project stakeholders

Assist with CAD drafting and design, and preparation of construction documents

Qualification

Required

Some College education in Civil Engineering or related field

Ability to work in a team environment
