Program Coordinator

The Susan Samueli Integrative Health Institute, part of UC Irvine, is dedicated to transforming healthcare through integrative health practices. Responsibilities

Support various education activities and programs at the UCI Susan Samueli Integrative Health Institute, including the Academic Integrative Medicine (AIM) Health and Wellness Coaching certification program
Oversee day-to-day coordination of the programs, which consists of multiple cohorts throughout the year
Ensure smooth program delivery and a high-quality learning experience
Schedule and communicate with faculty and students, providing logistical support for live and recorded events and lectures
Monitor the established program budgets and more
Serve as the primary point of contact for students, addressing questions, tracking progress, and fostering engagement throughout the program
Support curriculum implementation by assisting with course materials, online platforms, and program assessments
Ensure that program activities reflect the Samueli Institute’s commitment to academic rigor, collaboration, and cultural sensitivity
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance the programs reach and impact

Required

Thorough knowledge of relevant policies and regulatory requirements
Solid knowledge of health professions education program requirements
Thorough knowledge of health professions education industry
Thorough knowledge of administrative analysis and operations research
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement processes and systems
Thorough knowledge of the administrative and operational implications in a program
Demonstrated experience and documented excellence in oral and written communications skills; includes active listening and critical thinking
Strong interpersonal skills
Actively cooperates and supports the work of others
Ability to work productively with anyone regardless of background
Empathetic and aware of impact on others
Strong problem solving skills to assist learners and resolve issues
Excellent organizational skills, analytical, and demonstrated attention to detail
Ability to complete work and meet established deadlines in an accurate and timely manner, and to manage short and competing deadlines
Knowledge and/or experience with maintaining compliance with the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaching as well as CME accreditation process(es)
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
At least 3 years of relevant work experience

Preferred

Thorough knowledge of educational software and platforms
Demonstrated ability to analyze and seek solutions to enhance the user experience
Thorough knowledge of data management, documentation methods used in investigating and presenting findings about the program
Skills include statistical analysis of data across databases and systems
Knowledge or experience with integrative health practices
