Aircraft Mechanic I - SOATB MH-6 team
Akima Technical Solutions (ATS) is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic I to join their SOATB MH-6 team in Fort Campbell, KY. The role involves supporting maintenance and launch/recovery operations on the flight line, including troubleshooting and repairing aircraft components as necessary.

Responsibilities
Candidate will be required to repair and replace aircraft components, troubleshoot faults, rig flight controls, adjust rotor system track and balance, and complete scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as required to support flight operations both at home station and on TDY trips
Will perform maintenance as instructed in technical publications and IETMS
Must be able to use hand tools, special tools, calibrated tools, and specialized test kits to maintain and trouble-shoot aircraft systems
Must be able to read schematics, interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and methods of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components
This mechanic must be able to work independently at home station and while TDY at remote locations
This mechanic must be able to perform administrative actions when it comes to aircraft forms and records on systems being utilized by the organization such as ACN, Hydra, GCSS-Army, and other software platforms
Qualification
Required
Must be a U.S. citizen with a valid U.S. drivers license
Must possess or be able to obtain a secret clearance
6 years' experience in rotary wing aviation. Prefer previous A/MH-6M experience
Must be able to travel 1-2 weeks at a time/complete TDY assignments away from home station
Must be willing to work second shift as required during assigned rotation
Must have experience with ACN or other electronic logbook system
Must have own tools/toolbox
Must be able to pass a basic physical for ground handling of aircraft and operating vehicles/equipment on the flight line
