Responsibilities
Create 3D models of new designs utilizing PTC Creo
Developing and documenting functional requirements and translating into detail design documents
Overseeing the efforts of drafting teams to create any manufacturing drawings related to your designs
Perform needed analysis activities to aid in development and refinement of designs
Participating in and supporting proposal preparation, cost estimates, and technical reports
Communicate technical information to team members, other Client engineering teams and suppliers
Develop technical documentation for operation of new tools
Qualification
Required
Minimum 1 year of experience
Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical engineering preferred)
Experience with modeling/designing in 3d parametric modeling software (i.e. Creo, Inventor, Solidworks, etc.)
Experience with application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
Mechanical print reading and/or drafting experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good organizational and time management practices
Ability to work within a team or independently
Good critical thinking skills
Preferred
3D Modeling software (PTC Creo is preferred)
Experience with analysis like FEA analysis, Stress analysis, flow analysis
Fabrication or welding or machining experience is a plus
Experience in operating and servicing heavy equipment is a plus but candidate will not perform this
Experience with various analytical/simulation tools (i.e. Finite Element Analysis, Bolted Joint Analysis, Tolerance Stack-ups, etc.)
